Clare Gleeson - Programme Manager


Clare is an accomplished Project & Programme Manager with a proven track record in delivering highly technical development projects in both Pharma and FMCG sectors. She has a BSC (Hons) science degree and 16 years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry. She understands and can manage the full product lifecycle process from formulation development, manufacturing process development, product registration, supply, through to commercial launch and she is skilled in developing successful partnerships with 3rd party providers. She has held senior positions at Boots Healthcare International and Healthcare Brands International and has managed large-scale portfolio developments (£50+m) and a strategic re-engineering programme. As Auralis’s project manager, Clare was instrumental in delivering the first ever PUMA, for the epilepsy product Buccolam


Peter McBride - Head of Regulatory


Peter has over 19 years' Regulatory experience in a variety of therapeutic areas and product dosage forms within the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and vaccines industries.  This experience was gained whilst working at a wide range of companies, including GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Teva, Auralis, Viropharma and Ipsen Biopharma.  Peter has a proven track record of managing Regulatory activities for complex products marketed in the EU, North America and global emerging markets, with extensive experience in managing Regulatory Affairs professionals both locally and in global teams.   Peter has a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology with Management Studies from the University of Leeds, a Postgraduate Certificate in Regulatory Affairs from the University of Cardiff and is a full member of the Organisation for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs (TOPRA).

Amy Donaldson - Programme Manager


Amy has over 5 years’ experience working in research and development in both the pharmaceutical industry and academia. After graduating with first class honours in Biology from the University of York, Amy worked as a research scientist within the New Medicines Research Group at UCB, based in Slough. Most recently, Amy completed her PhD in Immunology at the University of Nottingham.  







Maryam Shah - Research and Development


Maryam holds a BSc in Biology & Mathematics, a MSc in Immunology & Immunogenetics and most recently a PhD in Pharmaceutical Formulation (University of Manchester and MedImmune case studentship). Research outputs include multiple publications, awards for best oral presentation, production of an international conference and a report for the BBSRC on the impact of research projects in the business community. At Proveca, Maryam’s principal roles are portfolio management of potential projects, developing and implementing product pipeline processes, leading formulation development of live projects and shaping the science strategy.

Deanne Wheeler - Finance Manager


Deanne Wheeler is Finance Manager of Proveca, and a member of the assist team, a commercially focused accountancy, payroll, IT, HR and training business.   Having worked as an FD for an SME for over 20 years during which time she achieved an MBA in small business management, Deanne joined in 2007, working with a variety of clients, becoming part of the Proveca team in 2011.

Jennifer Crompton - Executive Assistant


Jennifer is originally from New York, USA and holds a BBA in Business Management. Following her move to Manchester, UK on October 2017 she joined Proveca as an Office Manager - Executive PA in November 2017. Jennifer will be providing executive administrative support working alongside the managing directors and direct reports. She has especially excelled in company reorganisations and mergers, while devising, implementing and maintaining office systems. She is excited to call Manchester home and is enjoying getting settled into every new aspect of her life change. 

Sahiba Dhawan - Administrative Assistant


Sahiba moved to Manchester in summer 2017 from Stuttgart (Germany). She obtained her BA in Business Management for SMEs at Aalen University and started working as an Administrative Assistant for Proveca in February 2019. She supports the company’s country managers, commercial teams and head office with an array of tasks and projects.

Sahiba joined Proveca with a wealth of experience in personnel recruitment, sales, training, customer service, teaching, and tutoring. She speaks English, German, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. Alongside her many professional talents she enjoys cooking and reading.
